Kyivstar launches automatic client verification for business

On September 25, 2026, the Ukrainian mobile operator Kyivstar introduced a new tool for corporate clients as part of its Verification service. The company officially launched automatic user verification, which takes place directly through the mobile network. From now on, to confirm their identity or log into a system, clients no longer need to wait for and enter one-time passwords from SMS messages or answer calls from an interactive voice response (IVR) menu. The verification process runs in the background and is completely invisible to the end user. The main technical requirement for successful authorization using the new method is an active mobile internet connection on the subscriber's device during the login attempt.

The launch of the new feature is accompanied by significant changes in service billing for the business segment. The cost of a single automatic verification request via the mobile network is 0.54 UAH, which is more than twice as cheap compared to the standard cost of a transactional SMS message, which stands at 1.24 UAH. In addition to reducing the price for each individual transaction, the operator has also revised the terms of monthly maintenance. The subscription fee for using the Verification platform has been reduced fivefold — from 6,000 UAH to 1,200 UAH per month. Such financial conditions make seamless authorization more accessible not only to large corporations but also to medium-sized businesses looking to optimize communication costs.
